By booking a trip with Blue Obsession, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These policies are designed to ensure a safe, fair, and professional experience for all guests.


1. Payment Terms
  • A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to confirm your reservation.

  • The remaining balance is due 90 days before departure.

  • Guests selecting “Book Now, Pay Later” at checkout will receive an invoice via email. Payment must be completed within 48 hours to secure the reservation. Unpaid bookings will be canceled.


2. Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. The following penalties apply:

  • 91+ days before departure: 20% deposit is non-refundable.

  • 61–90 days before departure: 50% of the total trip cost is non-refundable.

  • 0–60 days before departure: 100% of the total trip cost is non-refundable.

No refunds are given for missed flights, early departures, personal emergencies, weather-related disruptions, or unused services. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation, interruption, medical evacuation, and scuba diving activities.


3. Travel & Dive Insurance
  • Dive insurance is mandatory for all guests participating in scuba diving.

  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended and should include coverage for trip delays, cancellations, lost baggage, medical emergencies, and diving-related incidents.

  • Blue Obsession Travel is not responsible for losses due to lack of insurance coverage.


4. Medical & Dive Requirements
  • Guests must be in good physical and mental health to participate in scuba diving activities.

  • Prior dive experience is strongly encouraged due to the nature of liveaboard diving, which may include currents and depth.

  • All guests are required to sign a liability waiver and dive medical form before boarding.

  • Failure to submit the required forms may result in denied participation without refund.


5. Itinerary Flexibility
  • All itineraries are subject to change without notice due to safety, weather, or operational concerns.

  • No refunds or compensation will be issued for itinerary changes, missed dives, or schedule adjustments.


6. Force Majeure

Blue Obsession Travel is not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes due to events beyond our control, including (but not limited to) natural disasters, adverse weather, pandemics, travel bans, political unrest, mechanical failure, or flight disruptions. No refunds or compensation will be provided in such cases.


7. Assumption of Risk & Liability Release

Scuba diving and international travel involve inherent risks. By joining a trip, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

  • All guests must sign a liability release and dive medical form prior to departure.

  • Blue Obsession, its employees, and partners are not liable for injury, death, delay, property loss, or damages.


8. Guest Conduct

We reserve the right to remove any guest from the trip, without refund, for:

  • Unsafe or illegal behavior

  • Harassment or violation of safety procedures

  • Refusal to comply with crew instructions or dive protocols


9. Use of Media

Photos and videos may be taken during the trip for promotional use. If you do not wish to appear in any marketing material, please notify us in writing before departure.


10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.
